Women say Thurber was stalker

“WINFIELD – A decade before being accused of raping and killing Jodi Sanderholm, Justin Thurber, then 13, told a friend he spied on the girl and her sister through a window as they got dressed.
That friend, Jason Swartzell, 25, recounted the claim Wednesday before a judge considering whether such testimony is allowable in Thurber’s capital murder trial set for June.
Such testimony, which involves prior bad acts, can only be admitted if it follows stringent legal requirements, including its value to advancing a case.
Cowley County District Judge Jim Pringle did not issue a ruling Wednesday.
Prosecutors also called 10 women who told Pringle that Thurber had stalked, abducted and harassed girls…”
